February 6, 2019 – With initial support from the University of Glasgow and the University of St Andrews, The Museum Scholar announces a new volume: The Museum Scholar: Scotland, established to promote the work of museum students and recent graduates from Scotland’s many wonderful Museum Studies programs.

Submissions are due by 31 May 2019. This volume will be edited by Bianca Packham, a recent St Andrews Museum & Gallery Studies postgraduate. For questions or to volunteer as a peer reviewer, please write to Bianca@TheMuseumScholar.org.

As with all volumes published by TMS, there is no cost associated with submitting or publishing work in The Museum Scholar: Scotland, and all articles are free to read. Each article will be published in two formats: as a downloadable .pdf and as an interactive webpage.

This special volume is an initiative of the Rogers Publishing team to support the research and good work of their alma maters. We sincerely hope that this volume will encourage emerging museum professionals to publish and to engage in museum-centric lifelong learning.
